UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior to re-open on Thursday, October 23rd 2025

News date: 17 October 2025

The grand reopening of UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior store on Thursday October 23rd 2025 at 9:00 am.

The expanded 1420 m2 sales floor will feature the popular UTme! customization service and for the first time in Poland, a RE.UNIQLO STUDIO for clothing repair and embroidery. Exclusive graphics from local partners will be available for both services as well as other exciting surprises for the first customers.

We are thrilled to announce the reopening of our UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior store. This location was our very first store in Poland and it allowed us to truly connect with the local community and share our LifeWear philosophy, which focuses on creating high quality, versatile clothing that makes life better. We’re incredibly excited to bring an even better, refreshed version of the store, enhanced with new features and a full lineup for women, men, kids and babies. See you on October 23rd!” – said Kohsuke Kobayashi, COO UNIQLO Germany & Poland

The UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior store opened in 2022 as the brand’s first location in Poland, operating as a temporary pop-up. After a successful 2,5 years, it was closed for refurbishment and will now reopen as a permanent location, the second in Warsaw alongside the UNIQLO Arkadia store.

The newly refreshed store will offer both locals and tourists easy access to their favorite everyday essentials right in the city centre. Customers will find all the popular items, like HEATTECH, which keeps you warm while remaining lightweight, iconic fleeces, a big range of knitwear, including the soft and light Souffle Yarn and the innovative PUFFERTECH jackets for extra insulation. All the items will be available during the opening with special offers.

Personalized, mended and loved for longer
Alongside the full lineup of LifeWear, the revamped Wars Sawa Junior store will feature the popular UTme! service, allowing customers to print exclusive graphics on T-shirts and tote bags. Additionally, the store will introduce the RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, where customers can have their UNIQLO clothing repaired by sewing on buttons, repairing holes or adding traditional Japanese sashiko stitching, as well as personalizing items through embroidery and purchasing upcycled garments. This means your favorite items can be uniquely yours and last even longer.

Tapping into the local culture
Connecting with the local community is a key aspect of every UNIQLO store. For this re-opening, the brand is excited to partner with Ola Niepsuj, an award-winning artist, who will create a special poster and a mural for the store. Her design is inspired by the Wars i Sawa legend and the traditional Polish “Wycinanki” folk art style. The artwork will also be featured on tote bags, that will be given out to the first customers who spend at least 300 PLN, along with other goodies, and available through the UTme! and RE.UNIQLO Studio services.

In addition, UNIQLO is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the iconic Witcher 3 game in collaboration with CD Projekt, a renowned Polish game developer known worldwide. This exciting partnership brings exclusive themed graphics featuring beloved characters, who have become icons in Polish pop culture. To add a warsaw-centric touch, the brand will also work with BAKEN, a popular local bakery and bar, that will translate their minimalistic Scandinavian style into unique graphics. Both the Witcher themed and BAKEN inspired designs will be available through the UTme! and RE.UNIQLO STUDIO services.

However, local collaborations go beyond art. With the opening, UNIQLO will donate 5,000 HEATTECH products to local Warsaw charities as part of the Heart of Lifewear initiative. Worldwide, the number of donated products will exceed 1,000,000.
